I took my Fjord mare to another show last month. This time I just did it schooling as she had a small fit over the speaker noise last time. No fuss this time as we got there early enough to do a good warm-up and get her in a working mindset. We got to where I was spooking more at the noise than she was. I took my coming eight year old Fjord mare Kitt to her first show Saturday. Considering we got there less than 30 minutes before our class started she did awesome. Took Franki to his first show in aagess, awhile ago, it was a Racehorse to Riding Horse show. Racehorse to Riding horse classes are starting to gain popularity over here, and this was a whole day dedicated to it!

The show I am currently attending has been sponsoring, along with Practical Horseman magazine, a series of clinics here on the show grounds.
